Suburban raconteur, quirky propagandist, champion of the highways and byways of our almost forgotten neighborhoods... you might use any of these terms to describe Bill Michalski, but you'd be better off having a look at the man's work and seeing for yourself exactly who he is.
Bill has been affectionately chronicling the curiousities of his native St. Louis for years. Bill graduated from Webster University with a BA in graphic design in 2000 and founded Big Small Town Designs as a forum for his line of unique greeting cards and St. Louis postcards. His whimsically askew and uncommonly observant worldview create images that are nostalgic, silly, humorous, and heartfelt.
